Warranty: As service to our customers and in order to provide reliable computer systems, we stress-test (burn-in) each system for 12 hours prior to shipping as a precaution in order to identify any potential hardware failures. We make it a point to use high-quality components when building our systems, however, we do not manufacture the individual components (i.e. CPU, hard drives, RAM, video cards, and other components). Individual components are manufactured by companies such as Intel®, Western Digital®, Kingston®, and others.  Those individual components are often covered under a warranty longer than 12 months by their respective manufacturers. We provide a 12 month hardware warranty from date of purchase. In the event that you experience a hardware failure within the first 12 months, we will send a replacement for that hardware component free of charge (ground shipping, unless customer is willing to pay for expedited shipping costs).  This does not include failures caused by forces out of our control which include (but are NOT limited to) failures caused by shipping mishandling, flood, fire, and other forces of nature, unacceptable climate (excessive humidity, heat, dust, dirt, pet hair, etc.), hardware or BIOS modifications (including upgrades and over-clocking), physical damage, or intentional abuse. We offer this as a service to our customers during the first year, but in the event of a failure, inside or outside of our 12 month warranty period,  the customer may file a warranty claim with the manufacturer of the component and seek replacement. We will assist in diagnosing any hardware failures during the first 12 months. We will make every attempt to diagnose any issues over the telephone, but in the event that a solution cannot be identified, shipping the system back to us may be necessary, so please keep the original shipping materials. The customer is responsible for the cost of shipping, but the cost of any repairs will be waived as long as the system is within the 12 month warranty period.  The customer may also choose to have a third party diagnose the failure and we will work with that third-party in any reasonable way in order to help diagnose the issue, but we will not be responsible for the cost (or warranty) of any third-party diagnosis or labor. Should you experience a problem outside of our warranty period, we will support you in every reasonable way. We understand the impact that a "down" system has on our customers and we will make every attempt to avoid any delay.

Do mutiple core CPUs (dual/quad core) increase performance in graphic design software? Yes, modern design applications (i.e. Photoshop CS4) are capable of using multiple CPU cores in order to increase performance. Even if your application is not "multi threaded", having multiple cores will allow different applications to use different cores at the same time and speed up processing.

Does having more than 4GB of RAM increase performance? Yes, if you are using 64Bit software (such as Photoshop CS4), then more RAM will increase performance directly and significantly. Even if you are using 32Bit software, the additional RAM will be used to run multiple tasks at the same time (multi-tasking). For example, running Windows®, your security software, Photoshop®, Illustrator®, and Internet Explorer® all at the same time is a perfect situation where having more RAM is useful.

Do your systems come preinstalled with additional software? No. We don't install useless "crapware". That being said, if you would like us to install your legitimate design software (and configure it for increased performance), please ask us.

What forms of payment do you accept? We accept checks, credit cards, wire transfers, and PayPal.

Once I place an order, how long does it take to get to me? Our target build time is 7 -10 business days. We can often get it shipped faster, but that is our goal. Shipping time (and cost) is up to the customer. We will ship Ground, 2nd Day, and Overnight, depending on the customers' needs.
